Dia 13 de Abril de 2019 entre as 17h e as 20h, inauguração da Exposição Individual de Pintura “Sentir o Oceano” de Catarina Machado com 25 obras inéditas, na Galeria Arte Periférica em Lisboa.
“SENTIR O OCEANO”
“Sentir o Oceano” é uma homenagem ao Mar, a minha maior fonte de inspiração.
Nesta abordagem ao Oceano, exploro a pintura em esmalte (sobre tela e sobre papel), procurando com esta técnica que se sinta o estado líquido, molhado, fresco.
A sensação de estar imerso e emerso, através de movimentos ondulados e espumas fragmentadas.
A força das ondas…
O azul, o verde e o branco predominam nestas obras cujos títulos remetem para diferentes Oceanos.

“OCEAN’S FEEL”
“Ocean’s Feel” is a tribute to my greatest source of inspiration: the Sea.
In this approach to the Ocean, I explore the enamel paint (on canvas and on paper), seeking with this technique to feel the liquid, wet, fresh state. The sensation of being immersed and emersed, through wavy movements and fragmented foams.
The force of the waves …
Blue, green and white predominate in these works whose titles refer to different Oceans.
